Alex walked up to Moe's, as was her usual hangout when she was deathly bored in her dorm with nothing to do. Alex walked inside and up to the counter "I'll have a blended ice mocha" she replied, pulling out her wallet, she paid quickly and grabbed her drink, walking over to one of the vacant loveseats that were inside. She grabbed a magazine on the stand next to the love seat and began flipping through it.

It was probably his thirst that brought him, or just the fact that he needed somewhere to go, but Ryan Summers showed up at Moe's for no apparent reason. He came in and walked to the counter, passing by people without looking up from the five dollars in his hand. He looked at the menu. Being as health-ful as he was, he didn't order coffee, but instead a bottle of water.
He could have simply went to some place like Walmart to get some water, but then again, something told him to go to Moe's. Something inside him. He couldn't figure why, but he did. Ryan paid and then walked to a seat where he relaxed, near a pair of loveseats, just over a small counter like wall that seperated his own pair of loveseats. He heard someone on the other side of the wall and he glanced over, thinking he recognized the blonde haired girl who was sitting there, but he didn't say anything. Instead, he let out a gruff sigh and leaned back down into his chair.

Alex rolled her eyes at a mgazine article she had been reading 'Teens and myspace, should it be banned?' that was such a gay concept, if people hadn't been stupid enough to talk to people they didn't know on the internet, then none of this would be happening.
Alex looked up as she heard someone sigh, she tilted her head to the side looking at the guy, she knew him from somewhere...she looked up at the ceiiling for a minute and bit her lip, suddenly, it came to her. She looked back and said "Ryan?"

"Ryan?"
He hadn't at all expected someone to say his name. Not looking up from his own magazine article on his favorite sport, football, he just opened his lips to reply in his gruff, sexy Canadian voice, "Yeah?"
He didn't recognize the voice that had called him, but he thought that it was quite the attractive voice. He bit his lip and he couldn't help but raise his brows at the femine lips that could have spoke the name. He could only imagine how beautiful whoever was talking to him was. Wow.

Alex's mouth slightly gaped open "Oh my god, it really is you?" she laid the magazine down and stood up, walking towards him, she stood before him, her hands now resting on her hips. She smiled her sweet, pearly smile at him and awaited his look up to see if he even remembered her.

"Oh my god, it really is you?"
Ryan's blue eyes drifted up and he met Alex's gaze before standing, himself being so much taller than her, by almost a foot. His mouth dropped open as he stared at her, flashbacks racing through his head.
"Alex?" he asked, a slight smile spread upon his face.

Alex smiled as Ryan said his name, yes indeed, it was him. Alex's first love, that she had never told how she felt. She thought back to her and Sky's conversation. yes a small world indeed.
"yeah, it's me!" Alex smiled even brighter this time.

"Yeah, it's me!"
Ryan's face lit up and he walked towards her, his arms open to hug her. He laughed and then blinked a couple of times. "I can't believe it! I really can't! You've grown up so much! Wow!" Ryan remembered back in Canada when they grew up together. He couldn't believe it, he really couldn't! [/sub]

Without hesitation Alex quickly walked closer to Ryan and wrapped her arms around his waist, hugging him tightly. It was so good to see her dear old friend, he happened to be her best friend as well. "Yeah I know! Me either!" she smiled brightly and pulled away from the hug. "Yeah, I went blonde and stopped only wearing guy-ish clothes" She laughed a little.

Ryan looked her over after the hug. "I noticed. You look so different now. Not what I would have imagined!" he smiled. "So, how have you been since I've seen you?"

"Haha, is that a good thing?" Alex laughed a little. She hoped it was a good thing, I mean, growing up, she had been such a tomboy, it wasn't funny, but now, she still kept her rocker edge and all but was wearing more feminine things.
"Um I've been pretty good" She smiled "It was nice getting a clean slate, after rehab and all" she nodded. "Anyways, how've you been, and what are you doing all the way out here?"

"Haha, is that a good thing?"
Ryan laughed. "Of course it is! I thought you'd stay a tomboy," he then nodded and stared her over once more, taking her in. He then shook his head a bit in disbelief and smiled widely.
"Um I've been pretty good. It was nice getting a clean slate, after rehab and all. Anyways, how've you been, and what are you doing all the way out here?"
Ryan raised a brow. "Yeah, that sounds good. Well, I've been pretty good. Haven't had a girlfriend in years, since girls don't really think I'm attractive anymore...Uh, I've totally changed. I went out for football and stuff, so it's pretty cool. My parents thought that I should go to a really good school for football, and here I am," he raised his arms and smiled.

"You haven'y had a girlfriend in years? I find that hard to believe" Alex raised her eyebrow, he was infectiously kind and not to mention SEXY. At least he was to her of course. Otherwise he probably woulnd't have been her first [unrequited] 'love'
"Football eh?" She commented in her canadian accent. "Sounds hot, I love football" Alex smiled yet another one of her infamous smiles.

"You haven'y had a girlfriend in years? I find that hard to believe"
Ryan shrugged. "Girls don't like me," he said. Some girls said he was too nice and other girls said he was too jocky. Some girls just said he was plain ugly and others said he acted jerky towards them, though that was the complete opposite of Ryan. He smiled and then bobbed his head from shoulder to shoulder like he was stretching. "What about you? Had any boyfriends or possibly girlfriends, if you swing that way?" Since he hadn't seen her in a while, he had no clue of her sexuality. She was still 'curious' when she left Canada.
"Football eh? Sounds hot, I love football"
Ryan smiled. "That's good. You need to come to some of the games when we have them that is," he thought about football season. That was going to be so exciting. He never played anywhere but Canada, but mostly, he would play football and hockey. Since there was no hockey team here, he would just play football. And plus, he could check out those hottie cheerleaders...well most of them were hott he guessed. Probably not as beautiful as Alex, but maybe close.

"Bull" Alex laughed as Ryan spoke of girls not liking him, she had. "Oh yeah, I've had a boyfriend" She nodded her head "And yes, I do swing that way in fact, I'm sure of myself now, but of course I feel like a freak, I'm the only bi girl here" She rolled her eyes. "Anyways, yeah I'll definately come, I'll make you a big sign" She laughed slightly.
